Crafted in Texas, Start to Finish
Every journal cover is handcrafted in our Fort Worth, Texas workshop using premium full-grain leather from the renowned Badalassi Carlo tannery in Italy.
Each piece is carefully hand-cut, hand-stitched, burnished, and finished in-house to highlight the leather's natural character and lasting durability. From the first cut to the final edge finish, every detail is completed with care to create a journal cover built for years of everyday use.
What Fits Inside
Designed to fit most standard A5 journal inserts (5.8 in. x 8.3 in.), while keeping your everyday essentials organized and close at hand.
Interior pockets (4 in. x 4.5 in.) provide space for loose notes, documents, and cards, while the built-in pen loop keeps your favorite pen ready for journaling, planning, sketches, and daily notes wherever the day takes you.

Engraving Details
- We offer custom laser engraving in-house at our Fort Worth, TX workshop using a precision CO₂ laser.
- Free for standard text requests (extra work may incur an additional charge)
- Available on wood and leather products
- Choose from 10 fonts and designated engraving locations shown in the diagram above
- Add initials, a name, or a short message. Perfect for gifting or making your piece truly one of a kind
Character Limit & Formatting
- Up to 50 characters, including spaces and punctuation
- Text and standard special characters allowed (no emojis)
- Engraved exactly as entered, please double-check spelling before checkout
Production & Returns
- Typically, no added lead time, but may extend by 1–2 business days during peak periods
- If engraving instructions are unclear, we’ll contact you before proceeding
- Engraved items are final sale unless an engraving error was made by us
- Because everything is made and engraved in-house, we also welcome custom ideas. Logos, non-standard text, and more. Just send us a Custom Engraving Request or email, and we’ll be happy to help.

All Lonoke Designs' products are made in-house, because of this orders typically ship within 1-3 business days. Customized items may take 5-7 business days to ship. For high-demand items or during peak times, processing may take slightly longer. If there's a delay, we'll let you know right away.
